Diversified Career Technology Principles
Grade: 11-12 Length: 1 Year
Prerequisite: Approval - 1 Credit

The Diversified Career Technology Principles (DCTP) course provides training in employability skills, environmental, health and safety issues, legal and ethical responsibilities; financial and leadership skills; entrepreneurship and economics; and industrial and technical skills. Students must be enrolled in OJT.

Diversified Career Technology Applications
Grade: 11-12 Length: 1 Year
Prerequisite: DTCP - 1 Credit

The Diversified Career Technology Applications (DCTA) course is a follow up to DCTP and provides advanced training in those competencies listed in DCTP. Learning activities also include international economics principles. Students must be enrolled in OJT.

Diversified Career Technology Management
Grade: 12 Length: 1 Year
Prereq: DCTP and DCTA - 1 Credit

The Diversified Career Technology Management (DCTM) course addresses professional, legal, and ethical workplace responsibilities, labor and resource issues related to the workplace and other career skills at the supervisory and management.

Diversified Career Technology OJT
Grade: 11-12 Length: 1-2 Years
Prerequisite: Approval 1-2 Credits

Students may be enrolled in a maximum of two periods per day for OJT

NOTE: ALL DCT classes have a fee to cover dues.

NOTE: Students who complete the three year sequence for DCT may qualify for the Bright Futures Gold Seal Scholarship, if the student has an over-all 3.0 GPA and a 3.5 GPA in the business courses.
