INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE

PROGRAM

And the ST. PETE HIGH PRE-IB PROGRAM

A MAGNET PROGRAM

The International Baccalaureate Program provides highly motivated college-bound students the opportunity to participate in a rigorous, liberal arts curriculum. It is a four-year course of study with two phases. Grades nine and ten comprise the Pre IB Program. At the end of the tenth grade, students must be recommended for advancement into IB studies. Grades eleven and twelve utilize an internationally-approved curriculum. Courses and/or course requirements are subject to change based on the international requirements. IB students must pass all IB courses and complete all IB requirements, which include Creativity, Action & Service (CAS) and Extended Essay in order to graduate with a Florida high school diploma.
