Mission:
To promote environmental appreciation and awareness by encouraging environmentally friendly activities at St. Pete High.
Fundraising Activities:
The paper we recycle is purchased by the ton by SP Recycling.

Projects:
The Environmental Clubs main project is to handle the paper recycling for St. Petersburg High. Each Wednesday members collecct paper from each classroom and office on campus. This way we keep many tons of paper from the dump which ultimately slows the filling of the Pinellas County landfill. Our paper is instead purchased by SP Recycling and turned into newsprint at their plant in Georgia. We also do Beach and lake clean ups.
