Business Cooperative Education
BCE is a partnership between high schools and the business community. Juniors and seniors combine skills learned in Business Technology Education courses with on-the-job training in an office occupation. Students must have a recommendation from a coordinator.

Palmetto and Pine
The Palmetto and Pine, our school newspaper, proves to be a valuable tool in informing the students and administration of the activities going on at SPHS. With hard work from the staff and the aid of computers, it is also a rewarding endeavor.

National Honor Society
NHS is about service, leadership, and the ability to function in society. There are numerous qualities involved in being a member of the National Honor Society. Members have to maintain a 3.5 GPA and attend monthly meetings. Above all, the NHS is a committed organization that all would enjoy.
Meetings - 2nd Wednesday of the month

Mu Alpha Theta
Mu Alpha Theta is for students who have a particular interest in the area of mathematics and have shown excellence in this subject. Members compete in math competitions against rival schools.

Spectrum
Spectrum is a club that all its member can enjoy while showing their community and fellow club members how to gain a new understanding in what it means to help out. Usually a large club that fills up quickly, no one is left out in the activities that take place within this club.

Marching Band
The SPHS Marching Band is a totally voluntary organization which is full of pride. The band always gives their best at every performance here at St. Pete High and off-campus locations.


Exchange
The Exchange Club is a St. Pete High service club. Projects include: community service, Pfeiffer Courtyard, Freedom Shrine, Ribfest, and Christmas Auction.
Meetings - Every Thursday 2:00 p.m. Room 147

Gay and Straight Alliance
The goal of the Gay And Straight Alliance is to teach tolerance of all students with a focus on students who are gay. Straight students are encouraged to attend.
Meetings - 2nd & 4th Thursdays. Room 310

Student Government Association
SGA is here to develop leadership and responsibilty, and to facilitate the sharing of ideas and projects among members of our school. We also develop ideas of democracy and encourage participation in school events. SGA oversees all other school organizations.
Meetings - Every other Tuesday

Spanish Club
We are an organization for students who wish to expand their knowledge of the Spanish language and culture.
Meetings - 1st Monday of the month in the cafeteria.

Spanish Honor Society
An academic society for students that excel in the Spanish language. Juniors must have a 4.0 average in Spanish classes.
Meetings - Every 4th Monday of the month.

German Club
This club promotes German language and culture and involves students in exciting activities and competitions.
Meetings - 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month in room 117


Senior Class
Senior class government works to get the senior class all the benefits they deserve, and each senior class presents a gift out to the school annually.
Meetings - Mondays as needed

Forensics Team
The St. Pete High Forensics Team is the school's speech and debate team, offering a wide variety of events for people of all speaking styles.

Yearbook -- No-So-We-Ea
The mission of the yearbook staff is to produce a quality yearbook that represents the tradition and spirit of St. Pete High School. We represent a diverse population and attempt to include all. No-So-We-Ea encompasses all directions, North South West and East.
Staff members must be recommended by an English teacher and complete an application.
